Obama’s War On ISIS–It Ain’t What It Appears To Be–But it Is Part Of Something Far Larger, And Global

Obama.Eric HolderMore dots for you to connect, then decide if Obama is serious about this ISIS threat–or just playing clever games for political purposes, intending to wind down after the midterms. But whatever your final opinion, the ISIS army is but one of over 561 conflicts raging around the world–perhaps part of that “Ware Cycle” some military men and some brainiacs insist we are now mired in, the peak coming at us in 2020.

Nigeria, Iraq, Syria, the Ukraine and countless other hot spots have one thing in common–energy production and reserves. It is the foundational lynchpin of growth and economies–cooks food, keeps folks warm, affords them fuel for travel, and, oh yes, fuels armies and ideologies… There is far more than meets the eye in Syria and Iraq–and elsewhere. Join Reid for a thought provoking discussion of how ISIS, Boko Haram and others take advantage, seize the oil, build their war chests, and become a part of the global oil wars now underway–China, Russia, Islamic extremists, everyone is in the game–and oil drives inflation. Inflation weakens currency, and countries who have neither stable currencies, nor energy reserves find themselves in ever more dire financial straits–which breeds unrest and yet further conflicts. Fascinating linkage. Scary dots. And you NEED to know.

    Reid;
    I have guest here from Colorado and they are Dem. They have helped me so much, painted my house, put in a concrete pad for me and my BBQ and have almost got my garage cleaned up that was only Earls domain. But when they get to politics they are clueless. They think if all of US and YOU are way to hard on Obama and his staff. They said that if we would give him a free hand and quit telling lies about him it could be great. They said it is wrong to say he is ISIS and he Is for America if we would let him be it would be better, I asked them if they read HIS BOOK. and no they havent and I asked them to then read it outloud to each other because you just might hear what he has written and be surprised. I myself have not read him but still I listen to his messages or news reports and I am not stupid. They won’t listen to you because they are good christians and are bias. There is so many of people just like them who do not listen to the meaning of his words and only the hope he shovels. Now I love these people but I wonder just how many Ostriches there is out there and I worry more about us as Americans. Sorry to download on you but I worry alot about this. because with so many stuck with their heads in the sand we are doomed.
    Thanks for all you do. Love the pods. Roberta

      I know , Roberta. It is both frustrating and frightening when otherwise well meaning folks put on the blinders, refuse to depart form their normalcy bias, and wont even listen to, much less think upon the litany of facts, world and domestic realities and stats, black and white purposeful lies (health care, IRS, fast and furious, border, ebola, terror, and on, and on, and on)–most of the lies refuting his/their very own statements made just weeks, months or a year or two prior. Nor do folks with blinders care to compare words with actions–or lack of actions. Facts are inconvenient things for them–they disturb their notion that those in government have our best interests in mind, and are truly concerned with people and freedom over politics and ideology. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. Focus on those that will listen–they may in the end not agree, but they owe the ideas thought.
