GLOBAL WARMING became CLIMATE CHANGE, and then buzzwords like SMART GROWTH, SUSTAINABILITY and COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLANNING became popular. Now, with the reality of Agenda 21 being blown open across the Internet, the name has been changed to FUTURE EARTH.
No matter what they call it, it is a comprehensive plan hatched by global bureaucrats and elitist “one per centers” who want to control the entire global economy and manage how you eat and live. George Soros is a big funder. Barack Obama is a big supporter. And it is in your city right now, slowly taking root.
Maurice Strong, who was Secretary General of the U.N.’s Earth Summit held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, said, “Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.” So, Agenda 21 was created to stop all that affluence from harming the planet.
Even though global warming hysteria had not begun at that time, over 200 countries signed on, including the United States (courtesy of President George H.W. Bush). Then Bill Clinton became President and issued Executive Order #12852, creating the President’s Council on Sustainable Development and beginning marching orders to put the U.N.’s plan into action. #12852 stated, “’Sustainable development’ is broadly defined as economic growth that will benefit present and future generations without detrimentally affecting the resources or biological systems of the planet.”
The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) was created to get the program established (funded generously by George Soros), and soon it was up and running across America, without citizens knowing much about it or having any input into its implementation.
How does this affect you?
Already, The International Code Council has developed a large number of “international codes” which will replace existing building codes across the United States. They may seem harmless, but in fact they have been rewritten to include Agenda 21 objectives and penalties. A Code Official can deem your house or your land harmful and fine you, jail you, and banish you from the premises, all without due cause or process.
Little codes and regulations are creeping into your local area right now. International organizations are going to interfere with:
YOUR FAMILY – The U.N. Population Fund is calling for a global population reduction through family planning.
YOUR HOME – Global warming screamers say farmland and suburbia is harming the planet better to move to a densely populated urban center, instead. said that the answer to population growth is denser cities. Michail Fragkias, chief scientist for the UIN’s “Planet under Pressure” says, “If cities can develop in height rather than in width that would be much more preferable and environmentally not as harmful. “ Yale University professor Karen Seto agrees, saying “We certainly don’t want them strolling about the entire countryside. We want them to save land for nature by living closely [together].”
YOUR INTERNET FREEDOM – The U.N. is working on a treaty that will increase censorship and give governments the power to shut down the Internet within their borders, just as we have seen happen in Syria and Egypt.
YOUR LAND – Obama’s “Great Outdoors Initiative” is his strategy to quietly acquire millions of acres of land—both public and private. Although the government owns about one acre out of every three in America, it’s not enough. Obama’s work is part of the U.N.’s Wildlands Project, which was never ratified by the U.S. Senate and calls for approximately 50 percent of the United States to be set aside as “wildlands”, where no human can enter.
The U.N. is telling us exactly how they are planning to change the United States and our way of life, but only 15% of Americans are aware of it!
