More Idiotic Hypocrisy of Sequestration That Should Get Obama Impeached
posted on by Dave Jolly
Over the past month, we have seen example after example of the federal government’s wasteful spending in one area and ethically wrong cuts in other areas due to Obama’s sequestration. From the cancellation of White House tours to the docking of nearly half a dozen air craft carriers, it’s been obvious that the sequester spending cuts are purposely designed to hurt the nation and the American people, but not the people making the cuts.
Border Patrol and Customs agents face up to 20+ days of lost pay due to forced furloughs, further weakening our national security. In another move to purposely use sequester to weaken our national security; the Air Force has announced that they are grounding some of the combat air squadrons. Their budget was cut by $591 million through the rest of the fiscal year forcing them to slash about 44,000 flying hours, which is just what North Korea wants to hear. (Read More)

Defense Department classifies Catholics, evangelicals as extremists
By Lachlan Markay – The Washington Free Beacon
The Defense Department came under fire Thursday for a U.S. Army Reserve presentation that classified Catholics and Evangelical Protestants as “extremist” religious groups alongside al Qaeda and the Ku Klux Klan.
The presentation detailed a number of extremist threats within the U.S. military, including white supremacist groups, street gangs, and religious sects.
The presentation identified seventeen religious organizations in a slide titled “religious extremism.” They include al Qaeda, Hamas, the Filipino separatist group Abu Sayyaf, and the Ku Klux Klan, which the slide identifies as a Christian organization.
“Religious extremism is not limited to any single religion, ethnic group, or region of the world,” the slide explains, in language that closely resembles the text of a Wikipedia page on “extremism.”
Very informative again Reid, and very current. I do not understand the mind set of so many people out there who continue to think that BO is trying to help them. People need to realize just how much is at stake. Many are intelligent people who remain ignorant or lack the interest or knowledge of what BO’s policies are having on the country/economy. Apathy is a danger to our freedom. I am sad to see what our country is turning into. It’s not the America I want for my family or the future generations. Thanks to opening my eyes to many things……..
Thanks Dawn, for the comment. And your sentiments are shared by many–unfortunately, not quite enough just yet. And time is NOT our ally. I think most folks can not bring themselves to disbelieve, what “our dear leaders” effuse as their “true” motives–even when their oft repeated words are contradicted entirely and consistently by their acts. And most folks , caught up in the day to day don’t have time to follow (the powers that be count on that) and are unwilling to consider that there just might be people in power who have higher callings to ideology, ego, power–whatever–than patriotic motives for their acts, lack of acts and carefully cloaked legislation. This is one mind at a time type of battle. The best you and others can do is convince folks one at a time, keep your ears open, your brain engaged, raise consistent hell with your reps on all levels of government, and of course prepare your family and yourself for some possible rough times ahead. The first step is knowledge.
I totally agree with what you say about people being caught up in the day to day, not having the time or interest to follow what is truly going on….as I was guilty of this myself at one time. And yes “knowledge is power”. People just need to educate themselves with the real facts. Information is very liberating and education is the premise of progress. Thanks for the dots…..
