Guns for Defense? Sport? Collection? No! For Basic Survival, Michael Maloof, Author of “A Nation Forsaken”

Join Reid and Michael for an in-depth, troubling–even hair raising discussion of Michael’s new book “A Nation Forsaken: EMP: The Escalating Threat of an American Catastrophe,” and the rapidly increasing likelihood of an Electro-Magnetic-Pulse (EMP) attack.

Did you know there are three levels of EMP weapons?–Or that for $400, using plans from the web just about anyone could build a level 3 device? And then there’s Bosnia’s nuke development, North Korean long range missile testing, Russia’s subs in Gulf, China’s first aircraft carrier, and our porous borders and sea ports. And Washington does nothing to prepare, foil or forestall. What can you do to wake up government, …and to survive in a world with no power, no transportation, no heat, no water, no police force or army.

Cuba Could Hit U.S. With EMP Death Blow

Cuba may be in violation of the intent of an agreement that settled the Cuban missile crisis more than 50 years ago, according to an expert. But he made clear that’s the least of concerns raised by new evidence.

The major concern is that the rogue island nation may have “defensive” missiles that can be loaded with nukes and dispatched to deliver an electromagnetic pulse death blow to the United States.

US Unprepared for Electromagnetic Attacks

Summary 5-28-13
The United States is “dangerously blind” to an attack by electromagnetic pulse weapons that could destroy U.S. electronic devices, computers and power grids, says former CIA Director James Woolsey. America may be especially at risk from an electromagnetic pulse attack from North Korea, which claimed early this year to have developed miniaturized nuclear devices.
Woolsey testified at a May 21, 2013 hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on cyber threats and security solutions that the playbooks of countries like Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran “include a wide spectrum of operations beyond computer viruses, including sabotage and kinetic attacks, up to and including nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack.” (Read More)

    Howdy Reid:

I wanted to let you know I listened to your interview with Ted Nugent at least 10 times. It was awesome! I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming and after listening to your interview with Ted, I joined the NRA and my twin sister in Trout Creek, Montana and my daughter in Belt, Montana also joined the NRA as a testament to our second amendment rights.

On a more solemn note, Friday, Jan 25 was truly a sad day for our Wyoming Constitution. Our state legislature voted to take away our right to choose who oversees education in the State of Wyoming. Our state legislature stripped the Superintendent of Public Instruction’s power and that position will now be an “appointed” position instead of an “elected” position despite the fact that two thirds of Wyoming voters elected Ms. Hill as Superintendent of Public Instruction.

The voice of the people has been taken away by “Republicans” (i.e., Progressives).

Sure wish you could do a show on the march of progressive liberalism into our state and county politics under the banner of the Republican party!

Also on the horizon is HB88 which will allow county commissioners to “appoint” not “elect” a county attorney.

THESE ARE THE TIMES THAT TRY MENS SOULS!!!

Howdy back at ya, Nancy. First–thanks much for the comment! Always appreciate feedback, thoughts, and suggestions from listeners! And obviously tickled you liked the Ted Nugent interview–it was a wide ranging, frank discussion poof many topics on may levels. And last, let me say that I am thrilled it moved you, and a number of your family scattered over a wide geographic are to action–joining the NRA. Many more need to follow your lead—and all of us have to convince then to do it.

Your ideas on a state based creeping progressivism are excellent…but since our AM listeners are spread over over a six state area–and discussion on the best/worst of new policies/power grabs out of each state WY, co, NM, Utah, MT, and Neb=might be the way to go. I will put out a call for suggestions in the show after the fascinating Tawfik Hamid interview coming up this Sat—the folks in Washington are masters at distraction–and guess what? The scene of the next big war, and likely nuclear confrontation has all but disappeared from the news (notice how when things go bad–poof, gone–new distractive news items thrust into our faces?)

Thanks again for the idea–and for writing! Hopefully your sis and daughter are also now On The Right Side listeners! Yes, indeed–times that try men’s souls.
